Visa and Work Permit

Separate from the visa and equally mandatory. You must apply within 30 days of your visa being issued. Your company needs a 4:1 ratio of Thai to foreign employees, 2 million baht in registered capital per work permit, and must pay the foreign employee at least 50,000 baht per month (the minimum varies by nationality – some ASEAN nationals have lower thresholds). We handle the Department of Employment application.

Your initial Non-B visa lasts 90 days. To stay longer, you apply for a 1-year extension at Immigration – 30 days before it expires. You need continued employment, a valid work permit, and proof that your company is paying taxes and social security. We prepare the package and book the appointment.

Work permits expire annually. Renewal must be filed before expiration with updated employment details and company financials. We track your expiration dates and start the renewal process automatically.

Leave Thailand without a re-entry permit and your visa is cancelled. A multiple re-entry permit costs 3,800 baht and covers unlimited trips for the duration of your visa. We process this proactively when we handle your visa extension.

Every foreigner in Thailand must report their address to Immigration every 90 days. Miss it and you pay a 2,000 baht fine. We file online or in person on your behalf – you don’t need to visit Immigration.

Your landlord or company (as the property occupier) must report your address to Immigration within 24 hours of each time you enter Thailand. As your registered address provider, we file TM.30 automatically for all foreign employees.
