Hire Your First Employee? You Have 30 Days to Register

The moment you hire your first employee in Thailand – even one – you must register with the Social Security Office within 30 days. Miss the deadline and you’ll owe back-contributions plus penalties.

Both you and your employee each contribute 5% of salary, capped at 750 baht per month. That’s a maximum of 1,500 baht total per employee per month.

What’s

Covered

Key benefits your employees receive through Thailand’s social security system.

Medical Care

Employees can visit their registered hospital for free medical treatment including outpatient and inpatient care.

Maternity

Female employees receive up to 90 days leave with salary compensation from the Social Security Office.

Old-Age Pension

Employees who contribute for 15+ years receive a monthly pension after age 55.

What We Handle For You

We register your company and each new employee with the SSO. Every month, we calculate contributions, submit the filing, and make the payment before the 15th. When employees leave, we file the termination notification so they can claim unemployment benefits.

We also track regulation changes – contribution rates and benefit rules get updated regularly, and we make sure you’re always current.
